He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Paulette Royal.
He leaves behind his wife and soulmate of 20 years, Sandra Hill Crouse; three daughters, Jessica, Samantha and Amanda Marion; six grandchildren, Jonathan, Sarah, Joseph, Alexis, Riley and Jessalyn. Amanda Marion, of the home, was his special caretaker and remained by his side every step of the way during his sickness.
Previously he worked for The City of Thomasville, Mattress Factory Showroom and was a long distance truck driver. He enjoyed playing golf, watching NASCAR and football games. He also loved being with his wife, kids and grandbabies.
He fought over two years with stage four colon cancer and now is resting peacefully with his Lord.
A Celebration of Life will take place at 2pm on Saturday, October 8 at Full Gospel Miracle Ministries at 1107 Lake Ave., High Point NC, 27260. Special Speaker, Steven Hill.
