Betty was born May 7, 1937 in Robeson County, the daughter of the late Stafford Davis and Edna Smith.
She worked as an upholstery sewer of furniture for over 30 years. Betty was of the Methodist faith. She was a member of Salvation Army Methodist Church.
Betty Lou loved her family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Betty's hobbies were watching cooking shows, working crossword puzzles, crocheting and fishing when she was able. Preceded in Betty's death are two daughters, Elaine Stein and Tamara Bowen, and a sister Ruby Sandefur.
Surviving are Betty Lou's two sons, David (Donna) Baxley and Randy (Judy) Baxley, nine grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, five step great-grandchildren, and ten great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, make donations to Hospice of the Piedmont.
