Betty was a resident of the Sophia area all her life. She was born on December 9, 1931 in Guilford County to the late Rufus and Vera Davis. She was a member of Marlboro Friends Meeting. Betty was an avid bowler and secretary of several leagues over 30 years. She worked at Pilot Life and Globe/Burlington Furniture as a secretary until she retired. Besides bowling, Betty enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, crocheting and playing games on her tablet. Some of her favorites included watching crime shows, home renovation shows, and Hallmark movies.
Betty was married to David Lee Hunt for 61 years, who passed in 2016.
Betty is survived by her daughter; Dava Hunt of Raleigh, son; Timothy Raeford Hunt & wife Heidi of Greensboro and two loveable fur babies, Cinder and Ella (CinderElla).
A Celebration of Betty’s Life will be Saturday, February 4 at 2pm at Sechrest-Davis Funerals and Cremations, 976 Phillips Avenue, High Point, North Carolina. The family will receive friends following the service.
