Betty is survived by her son, Robert Grooms; daughter Betty Jean Grooms; daughters-in-law Ann Grooms, Debbie Grooms, and Lisa Grooms; she is also survived by 35 grandchildren and 63 great grandchildren.
Preceding Betty in death are her parents; sister Katie Cutts; sons Larry Grooms, Harold Grooms, and Lee Grooms; and her husband Edward Outlaw.
The family would also like to acknowledge the special care given to Betty by Ann Grooms and Carrie Grooms Hicks before Betty’s passing.
A funeral service for Betty will be held on Saturday, September 30th, 2017 at Davis Funeral Home at 11am, Pastor Tim Maynard officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral services. Burial will take place after the funeral services at Oak Grove UMC Cemetery located in Wallace, South Carolina.
