Byron Wayne Tompkins, age 55, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.
Byron was born July 6, 1966, a son of Elwood and Doris Tompkins. He had a passion for custom woodwork which lead him to his career in carpentry. Byron's greatest joy was being with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his oldest brother Bob.
Surviving are two daughters, Brandi Farlow and husband Neal and Amanda " Mookie" Tompkins; a son, Byron Wayne Tompkins, Jr.; five grandchildren, Halie, Chase, Sydnee, Byron III and Rhyland; a sister, Cindi Teal; two brothers, Sammy Tompkins and James Tompkins; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friend at a bonfire remembrance to be held at Byron's residence on Saturday, November 6, 2021 beginning at 4 p.m.
