Carl Leon Beck Jr.

He was born on January 19, 1937, in Thomasville to Carl Beck and Irene Ragan. Carl retired as VP of Thomasville Cabinet Works and also worked for the City of High Point at Blair Park. Carl was passionate about golf and was an avid bass fisherman.

He is survived by his wife, Bebe Beck; children Kim Beck Soban, Donna V. Dennis(Rick) and Dewey VonCannon(Kim); grandchildren Sarah VonCannon East, Amanda Schulte(Mark), Andrew Dennis(Terri), Aaron Schulte(Christina); great-grandchildren Caleb East, Zachary Williams, Zander Williams, Darrah Williams and Weston Schulte; and great great-grandchildren Corbin Schulte and Bryson Lackey. Also surviving are an Aunt Louise Poole and cousins Margaret Hill and Carolyn Shell. He was preceded in death by his parents Carl Beck Sr. and Irene Ragan as well as a grandson Matt VonCannon.

A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, at 12pm at Sechrest Funeral Chapel in High Point. Pastor Darryl Love will officiate the service.
