Carolyn was born on Janury 4, 1926 in Long Island, NY, to Clark Scott and Elizabeth Wright Scott. She graduated from the Keuka College nursing program in 1948. She married Benjamin McBride on May 6, 1972.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years Benjamin McBride. Also surviving are three nieces and one nephew. Carolyn was preceded in death by one brother.
Service will be at a later date at the State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain, NC.
