Catherine Jester Hutchins

Born March 11, 1924 she was the daughter of the late John Jester and Susan Giles Jester. She was a devoted wife, mother, and dedicated her life to serving the Lord. She was a member and attended Hickory Chapel Wesleyan Church were she worked with the children’s department for 62 years and served as the church house keeper 51 years. She served on the special days committee, director of Bible School and CYC, drove the church van, was the leader of Wesleyan women who made 16,000 bed pads for Hospice of High Point.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edwin Hutchins and 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Survivors include her daughter Kitty Sue Hutchins White and husband Emmett of Trinity, Granddaughter Kimberly Sue White Caudell and husband Kevin of Denton and many nieces and nephews

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 , 3:00pm at Hickory Chapel Wesleyan Church in High Point. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 6-8pm at Sechrest Funeral Services in High Point.
