Charles David "DD" Deal

DD was born in High Point, May 29, 1956, a son of the late Charles Grady Deal and Mildred Irene Shives Deal. He worked for AAA truck repair for many years and then became the neighbor mechanic. DD could repair anything. He was preceded in death by his wife, Tammy G-A Deal.

Surviving are a daughter, Tamra Skeen (Cory) and three sons, Paul "Buddy" Allen (Amy), Lee Hughes (Christine) and Randy Hughes; ten grandchildren, Dakota, Caitlin and Zander Murphy, Damyen Hill, Tavin, Carter and Trenton Skeen, Sam, Jasmine and David Lee Hughes; four great-grandchildren, Thomas "CJ" Elvis, Thomas and Alyssa Hughes and Lilith Waller; aunt, Loretta Yates; uncle, Harold Shives; cousins, Anitra Kennedy, Kathy Boswell, Allen Shives, Boyd Shives and Jarynda Yates.

A Celebration of DD's life will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Sechrest Davis Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 2 until 3 p.m.
