Daisy Fontaine

Daisy was born on May 16, 1940, in Puerto Rico to Eusebio Fontaine and Victoria Soto Fontaine.

Daisy had many hobbies and interests: playing scrabble and crossword puzzles; knitting and crocheting; flowers and gardening; dancing the Salsa; and playing Bingo with her sisters.

Survivors include her children, Samuel Rodriguez, Janet Rodriguez (Hector), Donna R. Frey (Bill); five grandchildren, Victoria, Daniel, Christopher, Zoe and Bailey; and sisters, Victoria Fontaine and Edmee Fontaine.

A funeral service for Daisy will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, January 23, 2020, at Sechrest Funeral Service in High Point. The family will receive friends following the funeral service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Daisy’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, Eastern NC Chapter at 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
