Denise Elizabeth Medford

Denise was born in High Point, August 21, 1969, a daughter of Larry V. Stroud and Elizabeth Locklear Stroud. She was a 1987 graduate of Ragsdale High School and received her associate degree from G.T.C.C. Denise was a life-time member of Brentwood Baptist and most recently a faithful member of Colonial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father and her father-in-law, Charles Wayne Medford. Denise was a devoted wife and loving mother.

Surviving are her husband of 18 years, Chris Medford; a daughter, Heather Medford; her mother; a sister Mary Stroud; a brother, Randy Stroud and his wife Ana; step-daughter, Jessica Dunn; mother-in-law, Annie Rhoades and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Denise's life will be held Friday, April 2, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at Colonial Baptist Church by Pastor Clint Scott. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Sechrest-Davis Funerals and Cremations, 976 Phillips Ave., Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Colonial Baptist Church.
