Mrs. Faye Stanley Maynard

Faye was born in Forsyth County, August 24, 1954, a daughter of Charles Lee Stanley, Jr. and Margie Louise Cameron Stanley. She was one of the founding members of God’s House of Prayer and loved to sing for the Lord. Faye was a member of the Trinity Grange, enjoyed gardening and feeding the birds. She loved everyone and never met a stranger in her life. She was preceded in death by her father and all her grandparents.

Surviving are her husband of nineteen years, Tim Maynard; a daughter, Lee Ann Miller; three sons, Josh Maynard, Stephen Maynard and wife Kristine, and Justin Maynard; mother, Margie Stanley; four sisters, Margie Ann Mooney and husband Terry, Cheryl Kendrick and husband Randolph, Linda Callahan and Glenda Stanley; two brothers, Willie Stanley and wife Betty and Ronnie Stanley and wife Betty; eight grandchildren, and her beloved cat, Kittie; and many friends and her church family.

A Celebration of Faye’s Life will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the Davis Funerals and Cremations Chapel by Pastor Bruno Wolf, Pastor Ronnie Everhart and Rev. Dean Maynard. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 7 until 9 p.m. The family would like to thank the staff of Wake Forest Baptist and Hospice of Randolph County for their loving care of Faye.
