Geneva Shoe Bryson, 64, went to be her Creator on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Hospice Home @ High Point following several years of declining.
Geneva was born in High Point, April 12, 1958, a daughter of the late P. T. Shoe and Barbara Hopkins Shoe. She was a former employee of High Point Bedding. Geneva enjoyed camping and fishing with her family. She was former member of the Upon This Rock Missionary Baptist Church in Thomasville. Geneva was preceded in death by her brother, Eddie Thomas Shoe and a granddaughter, Brittany Dawn Shoe.
Surviving are her husband of 39 years, Torry Bryson; a son, Paul Thomas Shoe; two daughters, Helen Marie Bryson and Diamond Katlin Bryson; four grandchildren, Jodi Guinn, Patrick Shoe, Jayden Tullock and Jordan Wilson; a sister, Barbara Shoe Johnson (Phillip).
A Celebration of Geneva's life will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Sechrest-Davis Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Richard Blevins. Entombment will be a later date at Floral Garden Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 1 until 2 p.m.
