God bless the memory of this dear precious sister in Christ who devoted her life to Jesus and was faithful n her belief that one day she would meet Jesus face to face and receive her reward and crown of righteousness! May she rejoice with the angel's forevermore as she is now one of them! She was a real inspiration to my life and I will always treasure and miss her!!!! With much love, Rachel Moody

Great grandma was always someone I looked up. She was always so kind, caring and sweet. It's sometimes hard to find people like that these days. She was never selfish and put her family first. I remember going to her house at Christmas and wanting to stay forever. And she always gave the best hugs and kisses. And I remember one day after one of her treatments we went to eat at Roseanne's. She got fish and I got chicken.  She loved fish. Everyone goes sooner or later. She might not be here physically, but her spirit is watching over us.  I'll miss her, but I'll see her again one day. I don't know what day it will be but I'm excited to see her again.

There's always a warm feeling of tradition around the Christmas holiday season, the one in which our family sets up days to have Christmas gatherings with each part of the rest of our family .  There's the day for Christmas within our own home, the day in Columbia, the day in Wallace, and finally the day in High Point or Thomasville. Though I don't remember every part of each of those days, I do remember that we all loved to go see our "little grandma". She always had a way of making everyone feel welcome, which was  especially great after long car rides. She was always happy and kind to everyone. She was one of those people that anyone would be lucky to know. I feel even luckier to say she was my great grandma. Her loving attitude just made you feel good inside no matter what. It's hard to see her go, but the memories I made with her when she was around us all still bring me happiness in her absence. She was a truly wonderful woman. We all will miss you but we will see you again in Heaven. Until then.....

For my dearly beloved sister in Christ. Can not truly say I have ever known a better Christian lady as Sis. Irene. Seems as if I have known her all of my life. Was such a huge spiritual blessing to me with her testimony for the Lord, her singing and her life of dedication for Christ Jesus!!! I miss her soo much but know, she is in a better place that the Lord prepared for her with no more sickness or suffering!! Not our will but, thy will be done, Lord. She is gone but  I have all wonderful memories of her. May the Lord strengthen and comfort the family and loved ones that are left behind. Well done, thy good and faithful servant!!!! Rachel Moody

My favorite memory....where do I begin???? We spent so much time together this year riding the roads back and forth for your treatments and I cherish every conversation we had. One day you said something about "on Hoke" and I said ok Miss Daisy and from then on I started calling you my Daisy.  I got the chance to learn about your childhood. We would talk about God and the Bible and I would tell you on your rough days you were a modern day Job. We talked about my work and about compassion for others. My most sacred memory will be when you told me that I had a heart like yours...the way I care for people and the way I wear my heart on my sleeve just as you did. I was blessed to have you as a role model and a grandmother. I'm so glad you are no longer suffering but my heart aches because you are no longer here with us. 

My favorite memory of grandma would be staying with her during the summer and going to the nursing home where she volunteer . You will truly be missed.
