Mr. Winslow was born in High Point of October 5, 1929 to Thomas Alton and Edna Bostick Winslow. He was a member of Vickery United Methodist Church Sunday School and had perfect attendance pins until he moved to Butner in 1962. He was preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Hubbell and his brothers, Worth Winslow, George Winslow, and Tom Winslow.
Mr. Winslow is survived by two sisters, Eloise Boyst and husband James and Frances Traynham and husband Jeff, and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Mr. Winslow will be held Monday, January 28th at 2:00 p.m. in Vickery United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Carol Carkin officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. The family wishes to express sincere thanks to the staff of Murdock Center at Beacon Cottage for the love and care shown to Mr. Winslow through the years and especially during his final few days.
