Mr. Burton was born in High Point on May 8, 1954 to Everette E. and Doris Keever Burton. He was formerly the assistant plant manager of Ready Mix Concrete Company and was of the Baptist faith. Jeff was a kind and loving person who never met a stranger. He had a great love of animals. On March 19, 1993 he married Kathy Lynn Bulla who survives of the home.
Also surviving are two daughters: Roxanne Blount and husband Don of Pinson, Alabama and Crystal Bruce and husband Don of Oxford, Alabama. Jeff has two sisters, Linda Little and husband Paul of East Bend, NC and Beth Burton of Morganton, NC. Jeff has five grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be held today, Monday, January 3rd in Sechrest Funeral Chapel on E. Lexington Avenue at 3:00 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the Guilford County Animal Shelter, 4525 W. Wendover Avenue, Greensboro.
