With a heavy heart but happy memories of my years with her, I know Mrs. Hough lived a joyful life.  She was a second mom during my teenager years.  I have nothing but the best memories of the happy life and home she created. She always had perspective to making wonderful memories and keeping life fun.  She was always up making the best adventures for her boys and I had the best time joining in. Thank you Linda for the unforgettable memories. The first time I met Linda was our first dày at Millis Road School in 5th grade. She was cute and bubbly. She was so kind every time we saw each other over the years.



I can’t put into words how much Linda meant to me. I have so many great memories of my trips to NC that my Mother & Daddy made often for weekend visits! I am at a loss for words and so heartbroken. Linda was the most loving, warm, fun, caring person. She made a huge impression on my life growing up and we shared our love for all kinds of animals! I’m gonna to miss our calls/text. I loved my cousin so much and will treasure all the wonderful memories forever! Chad I am so sorry for your loss and my thoughts and prayers are with you and all the family! David & I Love you all! 

I met Linda my first day at Millis Rd and remained friends for the rest of school. She was so kind to me and my shyness. We were both new but Linda made it all okay. 

So sorry, Chad. Your mom will be missed by many that have know her kindness.

Linda will always leave a place in my heart. She was beautiful inside and out. She had a heart of gold. I have great memories with her that I thank God for. We will miss you Linda but will see you again one day. Love you


This is hard for me to accept, losing one of my best and truest friends in life. 
  We met in junior high school in Jamestown and from that day until today and forever more I love her. 
  Linda never met a stranger and loved every animal God put on this earth. She even made me feel guilty about one of the activities I grew up doing, hunting.
  Once the local High Point Enterprise newspaper published an article about her pet squirrel Rocky who would come from the woods when Linda called his name. She would feed Rocky nuts out of her hand. She even left her sliding door to the deck ajar for him to help himself to nuts she placed just inside for him. 
  Heaven has gained a true angel who looked after God’s critters while living in this realm here on Earth. 
  Rest In Peace my sweet friend until I see you again.

My fondest memories of Linda is her wonderful smile n her laugh. The most sweetest and caring woman I know.Loved her son with all of her heart. She was a great friend and will most definitely be missed 🌹🌹God bless you n your family til we meet again.

Linda played a huge part of my life from a child into a young man. From her famous grilled cheese sandwiches to playing pictionary in the den. Linda and I probably attended every Disney movie released in the 90's lol. She will forever hold a place in my heart and will always be missed. 

Theres not a word in this world that can explain how amazing this woman will forever be. My entire childhood from birth is consumed with the love she gave to my mom, brother and I.  My heart is in pieces but I'm more at peace remembering all the times we shared because blood doesnt make family you taught us that Love did . As a confused child you loved me anyways and being with you, Aaron and mama at the same time my world felt whole. From us just digging in the attic to me hiding under the downstairs steps to pool parties and the 5am wake up calls in the suburban that you made a bed in the back for us to sleep on the way to see the hot air balloons. My love for you will always be and my son will know the type of woman I was so blessed to have as a child. Thank you God for allowing this beautiful soul to always be in my heart.
