Lorraine Carter Concannon Jackson

Funeral services will be held 6:00 PM Thursday, February 15, 2018, at Pleasant Ridge Christian Church in Ramseur, with Reverend Mark Beane officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, February 16, 2018, at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Staley.

She was a daughter of the late Eddie Ross Carter and the late Mary Elizabeth Foster Carter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Kidd and three brothers, Eddie Ross Carter, Jr., Willis Carter and Calvin Carter.

She is survived by her two children, Patricia “Pat” Concannon Kirkman and husband Phillip of Franklinville and Michael “Mike” Concannon and wife Tina of Troy; three grandchildren, Melissa Kirkman Williamson and husband Jason, Calline Kirkman and fiancée Justin Castle and Christopher Concannon and wife Summer; one great grandson, Colin Williamson; a brother, Wayne Carter; and a sister, Barbara Brower.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM Thursday evening at the church immediately following the service.
