Mrs. Margaret Cleveland Burton, age 86, a former resident of Malibu Drive, went to be with her beloved Lord and Savior Wednesday, December 31st at Pine Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Thomasville.
Mrs. Burton was born May 5th, 1928 in High Point a daughter to the late Grover Cleveland and Pauline Dobbs Cleveland. A resident of this area all of her life, she was a retired dental Assistant with Dr. Zimmerman. She was a lifelong and faithful member of Rankin Memorial United Methodist Church and was a 1945 graduate of High Point Central High School. On June 7th, 1947 she married Eneas Addison Burton who died July 18th, 1992.
Survivors include two sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday in Sechrest Chapel with Pastor Keith Edwards officiating. Entombment will be in a mausoleum in Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:30pm Sunday at the funeral home.
