Marshall Goadby Paine

Marshall was born in Charlottesville, VA, July 7, 1937, a son of the late Dr. Bill Paine and Mildred Black Paine. He was a proud Marine veteran! Marshall was very active in disaster relief and the Boy Scouts. He was a member of Westchester Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Janet Bunch Paine; a daughter, Ellen Paine; a son, David Paine (Amy); a granddaughter, Ellena Paine, and three grandsons, Benjamin, Eli, and Gideon Paine.

A Celebration of Marshall's life will be held Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 7 p.m. at Westchester Baptist Church, Dr. Eric Peacock officiating. Graveside service will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Monticello Memory Gardens in Charlottesville, VA. The family will receive friends at Westchester Baptist Church Thursday from 6 until 6:45 p.m. Memorials should be directed to Baptists on Mission-Disaster Relief.
