Mavin was born on December 15, 1971, in High Point, the son of the late Bill and Billie Ann Thomas. He attended T. Wingate Andrews High and later received his GED. He was an avid Tar Heel fan!
Mavin is survived by three sisters, Melody Bracy (Ray), Andrea Horne (Chris), Audrey Morris (David); one brother, Sherman Thomas (Ruth); and ten nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, March 22, at Laurel Oak Christian Church in High Point. Burial will follow at Floral Garden Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Sechrest Funeral Service in High Point on Monday night, March 21, from 6 to 8pm.
