Mildred Jean (Jarrell) Richardson

Mildred is preceded in death by her parents, Minnie and Lawrence Jarrell; husband, Nerius Victor Richardson; and grandson, Andrew Smith.

She is survived by two children, John Richardson and Debbie Smith (Andy); two grandchildren, Leslie and Andrea Smith; and four great-grandchildren, Cameron Smith, Noah and Olivia Styles, and Haven Rogers.

Mildred was a kind, gentle, and hard-working woman who created a loving and inviting home for her family and friends. She was a very dedicated employee of Pilot Life, working well beyond retirement. She was with them for 40 plus years. The matriarch of the family, she was willing to bend over backwards not only for them, but for anyone in need. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her and whose lives she touched.

A funeral Mass will occur Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Sechrest Funeral Service of High Point. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Sechrest Funeral Service of High Point. Internment will occur at Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery.
