He was born October 30, 1944 in Guilford County to Paul Milton Yokeley and Edna Lee Davis. Mr. Yokeley was retired from the upholstery business. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Stephen Yokeley in 2006.
Surviving are his daughters; Amber Yokeley Odell and husband Scott of Trinity and Crystal Yokeley of Wallburg; two sisters; Judith Cook of Thomasville and Germaine Matney of High Point and two grandchildren; Cory Scott Odell and Jacob Damien Davis. Mr. Yokeley is also survived by a special long time friend, Diane Goode of Archdale and his favorite pet cat, “Fuzzy”.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 p.m. in Sechrest Chapel on E. Lexington Avenue in High Point by the Reverend Junior Seawell. Interment will follow in Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
