High Point, NC Norma Jean Thompson Crouch, 83, of High Point, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2017 at High Point Regional Hospital. Norma was born on March 10, 1934 in Candor, NC, a daughter of the late Will Thompson and Thelma Greene Thompson Halker. She was a member of Lebanon United Methodist Church for most of her life and was active in the Sunshine Club. Norma was a self-taught artist and had worked at Miller Desk in Accounts Payable. Most of all, her family always came first and was the center of her life. Surviving are son, James “Butch” Crouch of Asheboro; daughter, Pam Dean of High Point; sister, Anne Smith of High Point; two grandchildren, Crystal Moore and husband Michael and Zachary Dean and wife Alex; three great grandchildren, Alex Crouch, Tessa Moore, and Kayla Moore. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 am Saturday, Nov. 4 at Lebanon United Methodist Church by Pastor Tim James. The family will greet friends immediately following the service.
