Patsy Ann Shives

Patsy Ann Shives,77, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 with her family by her side.

Pat was born May 23, 1945, a daughter of the late William Eugene Hicks and Annie Hodge Hicks. A resident of the High Point area her entire life, she retired from Food Lion after 25 years of service. Pat enjoyed watching her grandchildren's sports activities. She was preceded in death by her siblings, William Eugene Hicks, Jr. and Norma Everhart.

Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Darrell Shives; three sons, Darrell Shives, Jr. and wife Sharon, Danny Shives, and Ricky Shives and wife Beverly; five grandchildren, Jeremy Shives and wife Audra, Austin, Dakota Shives and fiance Hope Franks, Gavin and Lynken Shives.

A Celebration of Pat's life will be held Sunday, August 14, 2022 at 7 p.m. in the Sechrest-Davis Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service until 9 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
