She was born on December 29, 1931, in Guilford County to the late Gilmer and Ruby Haney. Ramona met her husband, Kent Worth Hall, while they were both working at Anvil Brand Corporation in High Point. Ramona later worked at Valspar Corporation, where she retired after 23 years of service. Family meant everything to Ramona. She will always be remembered as a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Preceding Ramona in death were her husband Kent in 2006, son Brian Kent Hall in 2000, her parents Gilmer and Ruby Haney, one sister and three brothers.
She is survived by her two sons, Duane Keith Hall and David Wayne Hall and his wife Loree Hall; daughter-in-law, Gayle Hall Black and husband Gary; grandchildren, Aaron Hall, Melinda Hall and fiancé Chris Morris, Odessa Hall, Jeremy Hall and wife Gelsey Hall, and Jenna Hall; and great-grandson, Lucas Gilley.
A funeral service for Ramona will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at Sechrest Funeral Service in High Point. Interment will follow at Floral Garden Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service.
