Roger Brian McHenry

Brian was born December 16, 1982, to Lynda Wiley McHenry and the late Roger Lee McHenry. He grew up in the High Point/Archdale area and graduated from Wesleyan Christian Academy and High Point University. He worked at the Greensboro location of UPS. Brian enjoyed sports, particularly the Carolina Panthers and UNC basketball. His hobby was salt water aquariums. He had several aquariums and was always ready to show you his fish.

On November 17, 2007, Brian married the former Detra Page, who survives of the home. They have one son, Roger-Thomas Nathan McHenry. Also surviving are his mother and step-father Lynda and Rocky Wright of High Point; his grandparents Tom and Judy Wiley of Archdale and Mack and Louise McHenry of Trinity; his mother-in-law and father-in-law Bobby and Joan Page of Winston-Salem; his step-sister Melissa Warren and her husband Greg of High Point; his step-brother Matthew Wright and his wife Jennifer of Winston-Salem; his sister-in-law Kently Page of Hollywood, CA; his niece and nephews Addie Cranford, Seth Cranford, Silas Cranford and Archer Cranford; his grandmother-in-law Doris Page; his uncles Tim Wiley and his wife Joann and Earl McHenry, Jr and his wife Lynn; his aunt Lisa Nance; his cousins Laura Maness, Chad McHenry, Holly Stone, Travis Nance, and Alex Nance; and his loyal pets Kaya, Basil and Smores.

Services for Brian will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 20, at Westchester Baptist Church, 135 Westchester Dr, High Point, NC, officiated by Fr. Brian Cook and Rev. Eric Peacock. Interment will follow in Floral Garden Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Sechrest Funeral Service in High Point on Thursday, February 19, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
