Thelma Mae Davis Allen, 76, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017 at the Hospice Home at High Point. Thelma was born in Madison County, NC on March 12, 1941, a daughter of the late Noah and Bertha Price Davis. A resident of Trinity most of her life, Thelma had worked for many years as a sewer. She enjoyed gardening and flowers. She also spent many hours on her back porch and enjoying the birds and cats. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Allen, brother, Delmar Davis, and sister, Norma Williams. A celebration of Thelma's life will be held at 2 pm Thursday, July 6 in the chapel of Davis Funeral Home by Pastor Steve Jones. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, July 5 from 6 until 8 pm.
