Virginia Hudson Jones

Virginia Hudson Jones 87 passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Westchester Manor, High Point. She was born in Winnsboro, SC to the late Albert and Pearl Wylie Hudson. Virginia was married to Charles J. Jones on January 1, 1950 and enjoyed 63 years of marriage life to Charles. She was a member of the Montlieu United Methodist Church in High Point which has now joined Hickory Grove United Methodist Church in Greensboro. She was a youth leader at the Montlieu Church for many years. She was a bookkeeper for Snow Lumber Company for many years. Virginia loved gardening and dancing. She will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her. Virginia is survived by her husband Charles of the home, two daughters, Sandra Jones Jordan of Sanford, NC, Leslie Jones Johnson and husband Tom of Fullerton, CA, a son Michael Hudson Jones and wife Joanne of Knightdale, NC, a sister Mary Hudson Collins of Raleigh, NC and four grandchildren, Charles William Jordan, Christopher James Johnson, Daniel Whitley Jones and Laura Catherine Jones.

A memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2013, 11:00am at Sechrest Funeral Chapel in High Point.

In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Hickory Grove United Methodist Church, Wendover Ave. Greensboro.
