Mrs. Virginia Louise Pugh, 82, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015 at her home in Greensboro, NC. Mrs. Pugh was born in Uniontown, PA, March 3, 1932, a daughter of William Bert Beerbower and Ruth Marie Bossart Beerbower. She was married to Edward N. Pugh and raised her family in Beckley, WV. Following retirement, Nick and Ginny traveled extensively in their motorhome. Nick preceded her in death in 2003. Surviving are a daughter, Virginia “Ginny” Stephens; two sons, Edward “Nick” Pugh, Jr. and his wife Cynthia and Franklin Pugh and his wife Renay; seven grandchildren, Sarah Peery, Edward “Nicholas” Pugh III, Franklin Pugh, Jr., Meredith Pugh, Elizabeth Stephens, Mary Ellen Stephens and Katherine Stephens; a great-granddaughter, Preston Pugh; a sister, Elsie Corlett. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Greensboro, NC Hospice.
