William was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and loyal friend to all he met. William was a beloved member of Hickory Grove United Methodist Church. A honored Naval UDT Special Forces Veteran receiving 3 Purple Hearts. Bill was also a Mason for 50 years, was a member of the VFW, Marine Corps League, The American Legion and a proud member of the Randolph County Honor Guard.
William is survived by his wife of 30 years, Judith Brown Ball; sisters Connie Adams and Bonnie Mac Cabe; children Mollie, William and Kathleen; grandchildren Cristina, Thomas, Joseph, Kayliegh and Jazmine; nephew Scott; and was also known as the “dogfather.”
In lieu of flowers, donations in William’s name can be made to Hospice of the Piedmont.
A Church & Community Service for Bill will be held on Tuesday, October 9th, 2018 at 2pm at Hickory Grove United Methodist Church of Greensboro; Rev. Leon Morrow officiating. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date to be determined.
