Anna Leen Brookshire

Beloved wife of the late Glenn. Loving mother of Glenn (Barbara) Brookshire, Deborah (Garry) Pullins, Lois Brookshire and the late Larry Brookshire. Proud grandmother of Tom, Jim (Michelle), Cheri, Jennifer (Jeremiah) Jonathan and eight beautiful great-grandchildren. Sister of Ellen Farner. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Anna was born July 16, 1931 in Johnson City, Tennessee, the daughter William and Rebecca (Lowdermilk) Osborne. She was a longtime member of Oxbow Lake Baptist Church where she was very active in the Ladies Ministry, the Homebound and the Outreach programs. She loved to take pictures and was known as the "family photographer". In her spare time she loved to sew and quilt. She will be very much missed by all.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road, Highland, Michigan 48356. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 pm until the time of the service at 2:00 pm. Burial will take place at 11:00 am on Monday, March 17, 2025 at Crescent Hills Cemetery in Waterford where Anna will then be reunited with her beloved husband Glenn and loving son Larry.
