Barbara "Joyce" Beall

Beloved wife of the late Jim Beall. Dear mother of Gary (Julie) Beall, Gail Miller and the late Gregg Beall. Proud grandmother of Nicole (Paul) Brazie, Chip Beall, Nick Miller and Zach (Hayley) Miller. Treasured great-grandmother of Audrey, Gage, Norah and Mia. She is also survived by her companion Joe Laflamme and nieces, Shelly, Heidi and Jodi. Sadly, she is preceded in death by her sister, Betty Hauser.

Joyce was a very devoted catholic and will be remembered for the many funeral lunches she helped assist with along with ironing church vestments and altar linens in the past. She enjoyed BINGO, going out to dinner with friends, enjoying movies and was a very talented seamstress. She used her sewing experience to make and send diapers, 600 of them, to babies in Haiti. She will be greatly missed for her gentle spirit and kind heart.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, 5481 Dixie Highway in Waterford. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 24, 2023 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm with a Rosary service starting 7:00 pm at Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road in Highland and Tuesday at the church from 9:30am until the time of the mass at 10:00am.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Guiding Eyes for the Blind in memory Joyce.
