Loving husband of Heidi for 36 years. Dear father of Ginnifer (Robert) Villereal, Jeffrey (Courtney) DeVita, Jamie (Andrea) DeVita and Brandon DeVita. Proud grandfather of Jessica, Jillian, Dominic, Gianna and Josephine. Brother of Marie (the late Roger) Fischer, Antoinette (Dick) Fischer, Pete DeVita, Aida (Kim) Crandall and Mark DeVita. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mr. DeVita was a car enthusiast who enjoyed going to car shows and hunting. He will be very much missed by all.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00am on Friday, December 17, 2021 at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, 5481 Dixie Highway in Waterford. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 2:00pm until 8:00pm at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road in Highland and Friday at church from 9:30am until the time of the mass at 10:00am. There will be a Rosary prayed Thursday evening at 6:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Ottawa Park Cemetery in Waterford.
