Cynthia M. Cheff, age 60, passed away unexpectedly on November 25, 2020 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. Cindy was born on May 27, 1960 to William Kenneth Bishop and the former Patsy Ruth Feathers in Detroit, Michigan. They preceded her in death.
Cindy was loved by many. She was the kind of person who would give you her last dime even if she needed it more. She often went without to make sure others needs were met. She embraced everyone and everything with love and compassion. She felt other people’s misfortunes deeply and never judged their circumstances or how they got there. She related to others difficult times because she had been through many herself. Despite that, she maintained an upbeat, positive attitude. She loved people. She was friendly, warm, caring and giving, always striving to make life better for those around her. Her beautiful smile was welcoming and infectious. Those qualities will be remembered by everyone who cherished her. Her family was her whole world. Being a mother and a grandmother was her deepest love. She also considered her many coworkers at Bortz Healthcare/Villa her family and developed deep, meaningful friendships with them.
Cindy is survived by her children: Ryan (Jessica) Bishop, Carrie Bishop and Laura Stowers, and their father: Jack (Lisa) Stowers; her grandchildren: Kyle, Cameron, Daniel, Brenna and Ava Breeding, Brayden, Jessa and Jocelyn Bishop and Aaron Stowers; her siblings: Janet (Bob Hinchcliffe) Lieder, Patricia Hardy, Kenny (Laurel) Bishop, Sheri Pyc and Stephen (Yvonne) Bishop. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Shelia Solomon and Michael Bishop.
The family will receive visitors on Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black and Son Funeral Home, 3295 East Highland Road, Highland, MI 48356.
