

Elizabeth Anna Davis, a recent resident of White Lake, MI, passed away in the early morning hours on Monday, March 11, 2024. She was 89 years old. She was predeceased in death by her husband, Richard “Dick,” Davis; her parents, John and Mary (Rawsky) Zedan; her brother, Gerald Zedan; and her grandson, Matthew Tiefenback.
Betty was born in the family home in Hamtramck, Michigan, on August 17, 1934, and grew up in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from Pershing High School. She married Richard Davis on October 9, 1954, and they were married 49 years. Betty and her family moved several times living in Sterling Heights, MI; Union Lake, MI; Commerce Township, MI; and White Lake Township, MI. She made friends every place she lived.
Betty was involved in many activities. She was on a bowling league, she helped a friend deliver Meals on Wheels, she belonged to the garden club, and kept herself busy by doing counted cross stitch, knitting, crocheting, sewing, and ceramics to name a few. She enjoyed being outdoors tending to her patio tomatoes, cutting her lawn with her riding lawn mower, tending to her flowers, and “chewing the fat” with her neighbors.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Kathy (the late Steve) Wolfe and her son, Jerry (Diane) Davis; her brother, Mike (Carol) Zedan; her grandchildren, Jason (Lauren) Tiefenback, Keliann (Michael) Johnson, Wendy (Doug) Warwick, Brandon (Danielle) Davis, and Ryan (Ran) Davis; and her great grandchildren, Bryce and Morgan Tiefenback, Abby and Ben Johnson, Sierra Warwick, Mackenzie and Vivian Davis, and Mia and Kai Davis; many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, with a Gathering at 10:00 AM and the memorial at 11:00 AM to be held at Elton Black & Son in Highland, Michigan. She will be cremated and an interment ceremony will be held at All Saints Cemetery on Nelsey Road in Waterford, MI on April 10, 2024, at 12:00 noon.
