Frederick Wayne Hamilton Jr.

Frederick Wayne Hamilton, Jr., age 81, of White Lake, passed away Monday, December 4, 2023, at his home. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Katherine “Kittie” Hamilton; his two sons: Frederick Hamilton, III, and Todd (Sheila) Hamilton; his six grandchildren; his great-grandson; his two brothers: Roy (Judy) Hamilton, and Raymond (Marybeth) Hamilton; and his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Fred was born June 10, 1942, in Norwich, Connecticut, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Frederick and Mary (Soule) Hamilton. Fred was introduced to the love of his life, Kittie, while he worked as a delivery driver at a local grocery store, where as luck would have it, Kittie also worked. The two started dating, fell in love, and were eventually married. Fred and Kittie spent fifty-one wonderful years together raising their family. For most of his professional life, Frederick worked as a truck driver at Arkansas Best Freight Trucking Company, retiring after many years of service. In his free time, Fred could always be found enjoying a round of golf, or going bowling with his wife. He also had many fond memories made on fishing trips throughout the years. He was a wonderful man who will be greatly missed.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick, Sr., and Mary; and his brother, Keith Hamilton.

In accordance with Fred’s wishes, cremation will take place. At a later date, Fred will be inurned at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy. Those desiring may consider donations in Fred’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, or to Residential Hospice.
