Jean Ann Portman of Clermont, Florida passed away at her home with her family by her side on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 85 years of age.
She was born on January 31, 1934 in Highland Park, Michigan to James and Florence Gallagher. She married Robert “Bob” Portman on November 25, 1954.
Mrs. Portman is survived by her loving husband Bob; her children, Lynn (Daryl) White, James (Terri) Portman, Denise (David) Misaras, Lisa (Mark) Christiansen, and Michelle (Randy) Montrose; fifteen grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Don, and her daughter Nadine.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 23, 2019 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2099 N. Hacker Road in Howell. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 22, 2019 from 2-8 pm at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road and Friday at church from 10:00 am until the time of mass at 11:00 am. Interment at Ottawa Park Cemetery Friday at 3:00 pm. (Please use Dixie Road entrance.)
