Beloved wife of Douglas for 56 years. Loving mother of David (Karen) Morse and Sarah (Steve) Empie. Proud grandmother of Savannah Morse, Selena Morse, Lauren Empie and Jillian Empie. Sister of DeEtta (Jim) Trainor. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Mrs. Morse was an active long time member at Highland Congregational Church. She was a school teacher for Huron Valley Schools for many years and was blessed to have touched many lives. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, gardening and spending time at the lake. Jeanne also enjoyed getting together with family and friends for special events, lunch and holidays. She will be very much missed by all.
The family will receive guests on Monday, September 9, 2024 from 2:00pm until 8:00pm at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 11:00am at Highland Congregational Church, 1605 N. Hickory Ridge Road in Highland with visitation starting at 10:00am at the church. Burial will take place on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 10:30am at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
