John Jelinek

John Jelinek, age 61, of Milford, passed away Monday, December 26, 2016. Beloved husband of Debbie. Loving step-father of Brian (Jackie) Darnell and Cherie (Joel) Conklin. Cherished grandfather of Noah, Nathan, Grace, Julia, Eli and Baby C. Dear brother of Marynell Jelinek. Cherished uncle of Cristina, Amanda and Daniel Bonilla.

John, a member of the Ford PA team from 1989-2005, made his home in Milford, Michigan. In his last assignment at Ford, John was Vice President-Public Affairs at Ford of Canada from January 2002 – July 2005. Before joining Ford, John had worked at FleishmanHillard, Hill&Knowlton, Freeman-McCue and Petersen Publishing. Since July 2007, he had worked at The Carlisle Group, supporting Rolls-Royce Corporation’s Indianapolis and Montreal aerospace manufacturing operations. In 2016, John, returning to his passion for writing, began publishing articles in the Highland Spinal Column. He also needed more on his plate so he became a Barista at the Kroger Starbucks in Milford.

Memorial Visitation will be held Friday, December 30, 2016 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm with a Memorial Service and Memory Sharing at 7:00pm at Grace Church, 220 Bogie Lake Road, White Lake.
