Judy Miller, 77, of Milford, passed away peacefully in 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to her family. Born to John and Clara Miller in 1948 in Detroit, Judy later moved to Milford to raise her only son, Jeremy, building a loving home and a life centered around family.
Judy spent her career working in the automotive industry until her well-earned retirement. Never one to sit still, she later pursued a certification in medical billing and coding, always eager to learn and grow.
Above all, Judy was a devoted mother to Jeremy and his fiancée, Sara. She adored them both and cherished their bond. She was also a proud, doting grandmother to Oliver, Elaina, and Sidney. Whether it was through time spent together or Amazon Prime surprises, she found immense joy in spoiling her grandchildren. She and Oliver had a cherished bedtime tradition of sharing her tablet every night, a quiet and loving routine that brought them both comfort. She encouraged Elaina’s creativity by making sure she never ran out of crafting and art supplies, nurturing her imagination in the most thoughtful way. And she was always happy to be Sidney’s trusted babysitter for Ellie, a beloved stuffed elephant.
Judy was a woman of quiet strength, gentle kindness, and a sharp sense of humor. She had a lifelong love of reading and was rarely without her Kindle. Even in her final moments, her wit shone through as she joked with her doctors, reminding everyone of the resilience and warmth that defined her. Though she was known for her stubborn streak—especially when it came to doctor visits—her deep love for her family was unwavering.
Judy’s sisters were her best friends, and the bond they shared was one of the greatest joys of her life. She was deeply religious in her younger years and found comfort in reading her Bible daily.
She will be remembered as a strong, independent single mother, a loving sister, and a devoted grandmother. Her quiet wisdom, unwavering love, and laughter will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
