Larry was a loving, thoughtful and devoted husband. He liked to laugh and have a good time. He had a big heart, he would help anyone, anytime. Larry loved his family and family gatherings. You would always find him playing and teasing the kids. Larry had a passion for hunting, especially deer. He preferred hunting with his bow as it was more of a challenge then using a gun. In 2019 Cyndi and Larry moved to a home with lake access. They bought a boat and started fishing together. They would catch and release the fish; it was just the quality time spent together that mattered.
Survived by his wife of 24 years Cyndi (Haines) Wakeford. Cyndi and Larry were rarely apart in their 29 years together, they were truly soulmates and best friends. They loved spending time together. It didn’t matter what they were doing, they just enjoyed each other’s company. They enjoyed doing yardwork, fishing, camping, grilling, swimming in their pool, and hanging out with their dogs. They shared a special love for each other and always kept each other laughing.
Also survived by brothers Art (Barb) Wakeford, Tom (Loretta) Wakeford, sister Robin (Harold) Gardnyk, Mother-in-law Georgene Haines, brothers-in-law Mike Haines (Kelly) and Larry Haines (Ann), sister-in-law Debbie Haines, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Arthur J Wakeford.
