I am sorry for your loss; Mike was such a dear man.  I have always thought  Mike was kind, and such a good person.  I had the privilege of talking with Mike for quite sometime on Friday.  It was there that I found out how truly amazing he was.  He told me about his life events and accomplishments - his stories amazed me!  He spoke lovingly and proud about his Dad, children, Nancy, and Nancy's Mom).  He spoke about his plans for retirement and his big list of projects starting with his Mustang.  Mike's eyes sparkled when he spoke about all of you... he truly loved you all.  I feel very blessed to have known Mike, and to have had some of his precious time on Friday.  Praying for your peace in the sad time.

He was a hell of a guy. Mike was one of the most memorable characters from my short time working at Detroit Diesel. He was an awesome engineer and I was honored to have my desk 5 feet from his. He had SO much knowledge from years working in factories, building amazing things, and solving complex problems. Marcus, I hope you are hanging in there. I lost my father suddenly almost 4 years ago and it is very hard. Family, friends, and lots of hugs are the best thing you can have right now. Your dad was one hell of a guy and I will never forget him.

A funny memory,
"You'll never need instructions Mikey, those are just another engineer's opinion on how it goes together...unless maybe its a 52' Jaguar!" MRB.
I'll miss you Uncle Mike, you were a great mentor and inspiration to me.
