Paul R. Burns, age 69, of White Lake, died on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Huron Valley Hospital. He was born in 1942 to Edward Burns Sr. and Siiri Maaranen Burns Haverstick in Detroit, MI. He worked for Comerica Bank for 40 years retiring in April 2009. Paul will be remembered for his great love of his family, playing golf and the pride he took in taking care of his lawn. He is survived by his loving wife Diane; brother Edward (Betty) Burns Jr.; son Craig (Cheryl) Burns, daughter Brandy (Ray) Luchenbill; his grandsons, Tyler Burns, Bryan Brown and Landon Sanchez; step son James Bishop II; nieces Megan Weir and Meredith Burns. The funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black and Son funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Rd., Highland. Visitation will be on Saturday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m and on Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Private interment will be in Oakland Hills memorial Gardens, Novi. Memorial donations may directed to the American Heart Association.
