Richard Charles Wertz, age 87, of Highland Township, passed away January 15, 2016. Beloved husband of Darlene. Loving father of Duane (Rose) and Devin (Nancy). Proud grandfather of Matthew, Bryan, Grace and Alexandra. Richard was a skilled plumber, a member of the Free Masons and the Eastern Stars. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was an active member of the American Legion. Visitation will be held Monday, January 18, 2016 from 2:00pm until 7:00pm at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road, Highland. Funeral Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2016 from 9:30am until the time of the Funeral Service at 10:00am also at the Funeral Home. Burial at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens, Novi.
