

Roberta “Bobbi” Lynell Brown, a beloved family matriarch and longtime resident of White Lake, passed away on February 14, 2026, at the age of 78. Born March 15, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan, she was the cherished daughter of the late John and Margaret Kaake.
Bobbi leaves behind her devoted husband, Robert “Bob” Brown, who remained her steadfast companion through every season of life. Together, they built a family that became her greatest pride and joy. She is survived by her children, Ian (Julie) Williams, Aimee (Randy) Wiltse, and Erin Brewer; her grandchildren, Paige (Anthony) Johnson, Kylee (Tyler) Thompson, Rachel (Shane) Connelly, Chelsey (Zachary) Coltrain, Lennon Williams, Paiton Brewer, Nora Williams, and Brynn Williams; and her great-granddaughter, Mia Thompson, all of whom she loved deeply. Bobbi was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Peggy Kaake.
For ten years, Bobbi worked as an administrator in the Radiology Department at St. Joseph Hospital, where she was known for her kindness, dedication, and compassion. She took great pride in her work, and those same caring qualities shone brightly in her personal life.
Family was the heart of Bobbi's world. She treasured every moment spent with her loved ones and extended her warmth and support to her siblings, many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She also valued the friendships she built throughout her life and found joy in tending to her flowers.
To honor Bobbi’s life, friends and family may gather on Sunday, March 15, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Elton Black and Son Highland Chapel, 3295 E. Highland Road, Highland, Michigan 48356. A Celebration of Life will follow at 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Bobbi will be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished Nani, caring sister, and faithful friend. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
