Stephan brought light into every room, laughter in every moment, and love in every friendship. His infectious smile and warm spirit made everyone he met feel like family. Whether taking people for boat rides—always the first on the lake and the last to leave—or taking pride in everything he did, Stephan lived life with overflowing enthusiasm and generosity.
Stephan is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years, Kathy; his mother, Ursula; father-in-law, James; mother-in-law, Ann; brothers-in-law Mike (Lisa) and Jim (Jane); along with seven nieces; and one nephew . Stephan is preceded in death by his father, Michael.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black and Son Funeral Home, 3295 East Highland Rd., Highland, Michigan 48356. The family will receive visitors from 12:00 pm until the time of service.
