Husband of the late Joyce; father of Peggy Sue Brendel and Michael (Janine) Brendel; grandfather of Malinda Joy Brendel and Jerry Williams Brendel; great grandfather of Gryphon and Ivy Jade; brother of Timothy (Connie) Brendel and the late James Jr., Terry, Thomas Brendel and Elizabeth Donelow. Also survived by his Beagle Sweetie.
Bill was retired from General Motors. He loved to fish.
The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 13, 2026 at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black and Son Funeral Home, 3295 East Highland Rd., Highland, MI 48356. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Friday from 12:00 pm until the time of service.
Interment will be in White Lake Cemetery.
