Beloved husband of Phyllis. Father of Wesley Jackson and Step-father of Dave (Barbara) Hopkins, Dennis (Gina) Mitchell and Doug (Janet) Mitchell. Son of Wanda Jackson. Proud grandfather of Patrick and Jacob and great grandfather of Mason and Jackson. Sadly he is preceded in death by his father, Edwin Jackson and daughter, Jennifer Trusty.
Bill loved photography and was an avid Red Wings fan. He loved reading, gardening and watching MSNBC. He will be dearly missed by all.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11:00am until the time of the service at 2:00pm.
