Carol Mae Terpstra

Carol was born in Drenthe, Michigan in 1930, later graduated from Holland Christian High School and was married to Jake Terpstra the love of her life for 66 years. She faithfully drove a school bus for special needs children for 25 years. Family meant everything to her and she loved to dote on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her grandson Zachary Spaulding and brother Warren Karsten. Carol is survived by her husband Jake, children Ron (Barb) Terpstra, Bob (Marcia) Terpstra, Kathy (Lon) Lundy, Mary (Dave) Spaulding; grandchildren Josh (Megan) Terpstra, Jordan (Maddie) Terpstra, Ryan (Jen) Terpstra, John (Michelle) Huntington, Chad (Nichole) Lundy, Eric (Lisa) Lundy, Ross (Nicole) Lundy, Tyler (Ashley) Spaulding, Connor Spaulding; also 8 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Carol’s life will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 2017, at Calvary Christian Reformed Church, 400 Beeline Road, Holland. Visitation will be 10 a.m., Saturday just prior to the service. Interment will be at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Holland. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Holland or Holland Christian Schools.
